PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE

Critical to the success of a small business is the ability to locate and secure contracting opportunities, and the Palm Beach County Resource Center offers procurement assistance in a variety of ways:

• Assistance with Bid Preparation, Estimating and Take Offs

• Minority/Woman/Disadvantaged Business Certification Application assistance and/or preparation (Federal, State and Local) (click here for more)

• Distribution of Requests for Bid from municipalities, universities and colleges, local and state agencies - Business referrals result in contract $$

• Assistance with Minority/Women Business Enterprise compliance programs, and in locating qualified sub-contractors

• Invitation to Procurement and Networking Events, participation in Pre-Bid meetings from the private and public sector for construction sub-contractors and trades.

• Access to PBCRC's plans and specs room - set of plans available on most projects in Palm Beach County
